Raise the packaging floor past 0.1.5 so Netcatty pulls host-before-ack
Confirm, Pending-continue, and related mosh-client fixes. Local resources
fetch to moshcatty-0.1.6 (binaries remain gitignored).
Raise the packaging floor from 0.1.4 to 0.1.5 so Netcatty bundles the
stock-aligned Diff-path speculative echo fix for high-latency typing.
Handshake diagnostics already landed via #2128.
* feat(mosh): default bundled client to MoshCatty releases
Wire Netcatty packaging and npm run dev to pull pure Rust mosh-client
binaries from binaricat/MoshCatty (moshcatty-* tags), document the cutover,
and mark the old Cygwin Windows fetch path as legacy-only.
* fix(mosh): accept pure MoshCatty packages (exe-only, no dlls/terminfo)
Align fetch/packaging with MoshCatty pure-Rust releases: require only
mosh-client[.exe], treat Cygwin dll bags and terminfo as optional legacy
layout. Document moshcatty-0.1.1 (ConPTY Ctrl+C + static MSVC CRT).
* refactor(mosh): drop Cygwin legacy; MoshCatty-only pipeline
Remove FluentTerminal/mosh-bin fallbacks, build-mosh C++ CI, and
dll/terminfo runtime helpers. Fetch accepts only moshcatty-* pure
binaries; packaging ships a single mosh-client per platform.
* docs: align ET checklist and et README with MoshCatty-only mosh
Update mosh template references after removing Cygwin build pipeline and
legacy fallbacks. Point ET packaging notes at fetch-mosh / MoshCatty
instead of deleted build-mosh-binaries workflow.
* docs(mosh): require MoshCatty 0.1.2+ for Linux glibc floors
Codex review vs main: defaulting to MoshCatty Linux binaries built on
ubuntu-latest required GLIBC 2.34, above Netcatty's package floors
(x64 2.28 / arm64 2.31). Document the floors, prefer moshcatty-0.1.2+,
and drop trailing whitespace in the design note. Upstream MoshCatty
release CI now builds in almalinux:8 / debian:bullseye with assert.
* fix(mosh): reject MoshCatty releases below 0.1.2
Codex re-review: docs alone still allowed MOSH_BIN_RELEASE=moshcatty-0.1.0/0.1.1,
which produce packages that fail to start on Netcatty's Linux glibc floors.
Validate the minimum tag in resolve and fetch, skip pre-0.1.2 when picking
latest, and cover the reject path in unit tests.
* fix(mosh): pin MoshCatty owner and reject floor prereleases
Codex review vs main (P2):
- Always default MOSH_BIN owner/repo to binaricat/MoshCatty; do not
inherit fork owner from GITHUB_REPOSITORY in resolve or fetch.
- Treat moshcatty-X.Y.Z-rcN as below final X.Y.Z so pins like
moshcatty-0.1.2-rc1 cannot bypass the glibc floor.
* fix(mosh): accept build metadata in MoshCatty release tags
TAG_RE rejected '+' so moshcatty-0.1.2+build.1 failed validation even
though the version parser and isAtLeastMinRelease accepted it. Align
the regex and require a successful semver parse.
Build Linux x64 native modules in an AlmaLinux 8 environment with a newer toolchain while keeping the RHEL 8 compatibility target. Stabilize RPM and pacman packaging in that container, and harden bundled mosh/ET binary builds against transient dependency download failures.
* fix: build Linux x64 packages on Debian Buster for glibc 2.28
Rebuild node-pty (and serialport) inside debian:buster so x64 releases
load on RHEL 8 / CentOS 8 / UOS / Deepin instead of requiring glibc 2.35
from ubuntu-22.04. Mirrors the arm64 containerized build pattern (#2062).
* fix: run Buster build-deps step with bash
Container jobs default to /bin/sh; dash does not support [[ so the
archive.debian.org rewrite would be skipped and apt-get update would fail.
* fix: disable apt Valid-Until for archived Buster mirrors
archive.debian.org security metadata for Buster is expired; without
Acquire::Check-Valid-Until false, apt-get update fails in the container.
* fix: install Python 3.11 for node-gyp on Buster x64 builds
Buster ships Python 3.7; node-gyp 12 uses walrus syntax and fails during
npm ci when rebuilding node-pty. Keep the glibc 2.28 container and supply
a modern interpreter via actions/setup-python.
* fix: install Python 3.11 via uv inside Buster x64 builds
actions/setup-python is not reliable on glibc 2.28 containers. Install a
manylinux CPython with uv so node-gyp 12 can rebuild node-pty during npm ci.

* Add telnet URL deep link support
* Fix telnet deep link review issues
* Keep ssh deep links independent from telnet registration
* Address Codex telnet deep link feedback
* Support JumpServer jms:// client launch links
Register Netcatty as an optional jms:// protocol handler (opt-in,
default off to avoid conflicting with the official JumpServer client).
SSH/SFTP connection payloads decode to an ephemeral host that connects
to the JumpServer gateway with the one-time connection token, without
saving anything to the vault.
Fixes#1958
* Mark jms deep link hosts as ephemeral for session restore exclusion
* Open the SFTP side panel for JumpServer sftp launch links
jms:// payloads with protocol "sftp" previously landed in a plain
shell. Mark the ephemeral host with an autoOpenSftpPanel hint that the
session factory forwards as autoOpenSidePanel, and let TerminalLayer
open the SFTP side panel for that session once it connects.
* Support JumpServer telnet deep links
* Keep JumpServer telnet links on SSH gateway

terminalFlowAck.cjs requires infrastructure/config/terminalFlowConstants.cjs
at main-process startup; omitting it caused v1.1.46 to crash immediately on launch.

* feat(ai): unify capability registry, harness tools, and agent runtime
Centralize MCP/CLI/Catty tool surfaces in the capability catalog with codegen,
move Catty-only harness tools into catalog with local execution, converge
mcpServerBridge builtin dispatch via registry, and wire AgentRuntime with
vault bridge, permission grants, and Round 2 catalog parity.

* feat(ai): vault host tools, artifact cards, and external agent vault guidance
Unify vault host create/import with capability RPC routing, add chat artifact cards with Vault navigation, and align external MCP agents with Catty rules so host creation never falls back to Vault Notes.

* fix(ai): address Bugbot findings for streaming, vault bridge, and grants
Clear Catty streaming by chat sessionId, read latest vault state via getters on agent mutations, and stack grant persisters so unmounting one AI panel does not break others.

* fix(vault): clear pending openNoteId after chat navigation focus
NotesManager notifies VaultView once the one-shot openNoteId request is applied so the id does not stick for the rest of the session.

* fix(vault): serialize vault agent IPC mutations to prevent lost writes
Queue vault agent bridge handlers so concurrent hosts.create or note.create tool calls cannot overwrite each other via stale read-modify-write snapshots.
Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
* fix(vault): keep synchronous vault snapshot for agent IPC reads
Mirror hosts, notes, and groups in a ref updated immediately on agent writes so serialized mutations see the latest state before React re-renders.

* fix(ai): sync Catty MCP sessions and defer runtime cleanup on delete
Register terminal sessions with the main process before Catty tool calls, and clear ToolOutputStore only after stopping an active turn when deleting a chat session.

* fix(ai): avoid deleting a newer abort controller on late stop
Only remove the session abort-controller entry when stop finishes if it still refers to the controller that was stopped.
Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
* fix(ai): sync vault snapshot on render and await active turn on stop
Refresh vault agent reads when React props change without clobbering in-flight agent writes, and wait for runTurn to finish before clearing ToolOutputStore on session delete.

* fix(ai): reload permission grants from storage before auto-approve
Re-read persisted grant rules on each approval check so revocations in Settings take effect without requiring a chat hook remount.
Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
* fix(ai): sync permission grants to main process immediately on write
Push MCP permissionGrantsSnapshot as soon as Always allow persists a rule so the next tool call in the same agent turn sees the grant without waiting for useEffect.

Introduce workspace-aware System side panel with remote process/tmux/Docker management, terminal popup for interactive attach, capability warmup, review-hardened IPC, performance optimizations, toast action errors, and SSH channel recovery on reconnect.
Root cause: FPM-generated .pacman packages copy icons directly to
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/*/apps/netcatty.png, bypassing Arch's alpm
hooks that normally run gtk-update-icon-cache. Without a refreshed
cache, KDE Plasma cannot resolve Icon=netcatty and falls back to a
generic document icon in the app menu.
Fix:
- Copy electron-builder's default after-install template to
scripts/linux/after-install.tpl, append gtk-update-icon-cache call
- Create scripts/linux/after-remove.tpl with the same cache refresh
- Wire into pacman.afterInstall/pacman.afterRemove
(NOT linux.afterInstall — the schema places these under target-level
options like PacmanOptions/DebOptions, not LinuxConfiguration)
- Add test in electron-builder-config.test.cjs
The command is idempotent on systems without gtk-update-icon-cache
(hash guard) and uses || true to never break package installation.
* fix(linux): restore multi-size hicolor icons for Ubuntu launchers (#1340)
PR #816 set linux.icon to a single 1024px PNG, which regressed the #274
fix and left only hicolor/1024x1024 on .deb installs. Drop the override
so electron-builder uses build/icons again, regenerate those PNGs from the
tight-crop icon-win source, and add a helper script plus a config test.

* fix(linux): set linux.icon to icons dir for proper multi-size hicolor icons (#1340)

Download and package the et binaries produced by build-et-binaries:
- resolve-et-bin-release picks the latest et-bin-* release; fetch-et-binaries
downloads the platform client into resources/et/, verifying SHA256SUMS.
- et-extra-resources emits the electron-builder extraResources entry only
when the binary is on disk, so pack still works without a bundled et.
- electron-builder.config.cjs wires et into the mac/win/linux bundles;
package.json adds the fetch:et scripts.
